2013 World Youth Championships Prospects Jan 08, 2013

In 2011, the United States won its sixth straight IAAF World Youth Championships in Lille, France. The 2013 WYC are just nine months away in Donetsk, Ukraine. The U.S. team will be selected. June 25-26 at the USATF National Youth Championships in Edwardsville, Il. 

T.C. Williams frosh Noah Lyles makes World Youth team for U.S. Jun 27, 2013

T.C. Williams freshmen Noah Lyles qualified to compete on the USATF World Youth championship team headed to Ukraine from July 10th-14th after finishing 3rd in the men's 200 at the USATF World Youth Trials in Illinois this past week with a time of 21.62.

Record Seven Athletes For IAAF World Youth Championships Jul 02, 2013

JULY 2—A record seven athletes—four of them 2013 Carifta Games medalists— will represent the British Virgin Islands at the 8th IAAF World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, July 10-14, BVI Athletics Association officials announced. The Athletes will attend a pre championships camp July 4-8.

Lyles advances to 200 semis at World Youth Champs with 21.28 clocking Jul 12, 2013

Noah Lyles of T.C. Williams got off to a strong start at the World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine on Friday as he will be advancing onto the semi-finals round in the 200 meter dash after clocking a wind-legal 21.28 personal best in his preliminary heat to finish second and qualify on time behind heat winner Ejowvokoghene Divine Oduduru of Nigeria (21.24).

Lyles just misses finals of 200 at World Youth Championships Jul 13, 2013

Noah Lyles of T.C. Williams just missed making the 200 meter dash finals at the World Youth Championships in Ukraine as his 21.58 semi-finals performance today was 9th fastest and only one spot away from the 8th and final qualifying spot. Nonetheless, an end to a historically great freshmen year for Lyles to have to taken him to the world stage in Ukraine.

Team USA wins 17 medals at World Youth Championships Jul 14, 2013

DONETSK, UKRAINE - Raevyn Rogers pulled off a difficult double as she took bronze in the women’s 800m and came back only 30 minutes later to run on the gold medal winning medley relay team to help Team USA to win a record of 17 medals at the IAAF World Youth Championships.
